On Tuesday, a group of researchers claimed they had found the remains of Noah’s Ark, located four kilometres up the side of Turkey’s Mt. Ararat.
Ararat is a dormant volcano and the summit is 5,165 meters above sea level, making it higher than any mountain in Canada. The story of Noah’s Ark may or may not be a myth, depending on who you listen to. However, there are some truths that can be gleaned from the story either way.
1. Two of something is good.
You can’t do it all yourself. You can’t concentrate on growing your business while you are working on every aspect of it. Hire an administrative assistant to go along for the ride and take over the tasks you just aren’t that great at.
2. Quality counts.
Whatever product you sell or service you provide, make sure it’s enduring. It may not last 4,800 years but if you excel at what you do, word will get around.
3. Aim for the top.
It will take long hours and a lot of work. A sustainable business can’t be built in a short period of time. Learn everything you can about your customers, your market and your competition.
