All of us have a talent, a deep love of doing something, which distinguishes us from others – some distinct skill, something that we love to do. We don’t think of as special. It comes naturally to us. Immersing ourselves in this activity doesn’t seem like hard work, we enjoy it!

Our accomplishments that result from this natural talent far surpass the amount of effort we have to put in. Someone else may come along and point out to us the unique aspect of something we do and then we notice this as our natural aptitude.

Playing an instrument, writing, making presentations, organizing ideas and pictures or thinking creatively, (the skill some call “daydreaming”), are all examples of such skills. Some of us have the innate ability to understand exactly what another person really wants, even when that person cannot adequately explain it.

Whether aware of it or not, each of us has our own special talent that could be called our genius ability. Additionally, each person has specific skills that are best left to others.

Each individual’s genius ability is valued more by some than by others. It is an important key to successfully defining our ideal niche. By finding our own best skill sets, we can also branch out with others who support us:

  • by combining their similar ability to become our affiliates
  • by sharing their experience and mentorship or
  • by augmenting our distinctly different expertise with their own.

There will also be those who do not recognize what we have to offer or have nothing to add to increase its potential. The value they have is to point us in a new direction that benefits us much more, to expand on our ideas. This broadens our horizons.

Entrepreneurial ability involves thinking outside of what some people call “the box”. To me, it means being an independent thinker, not just in business but in your way of life. To some, this may seem idiosyncratic but to grow a business and do it well, you must be a little different than the rest, both online and off!

What is YOUR Genius Ability?

As entrepreneurs, we often strive to find our niche.  We investigate the market statistics more than we look within.

In my personal experience, everything that’s “right” always works out effortlessly and is completely in tune with my genius abilities.

Isn’t providing a necessary service that you can do best, the bottom line in business?  It should be. I’ve found that work that comes from the heart finds its target and succeeds.  The impersonal “big business” ideas flounder.

We all have a unique gift to utilize.  That’s the key to success.

In the world today, we’re all on sensory overload and it’s hard to make an impact.  Loving what you do shows!

Even if the deal isn’t closed immediately, love is contagious.  If you love what you’re doing, so will everyone else!

Creating your own unique market is not only a necessity – it’s your duty.

So, what’s your unique gift and how do you plan to share it?
